Westmeath is very appreciative of the community support we have received over the decades as we provide care services to older adults. As a Bermuda Registered Charity #206, we rely heavily on gifts to bridge the gap between the monthly rates and the true cost of providing dignified, person-centered and meaningful care. The Westmeath Trustees also fundraise for capital improvements and special projects. All donations are important and there are many ways you can make a difference.
You can choose to designate a gift to an area of the Home or for a specific purpose. Gifts that are not restricted and can be used “where needed most” are also very helpful. Tributes are also an important way to let a loved one’s memory live on. Giving in a loved one’s memory, or legacy giving, is one of Westmeath’s main sources for donations. This allows us to make improvements at the Home and serve our Residents with compassion and dignity, using person centered care.
Another option for giving is monthly donations. There are many ways you can specify a small gift each month that will make a big impact. For example, just $25.00 per month will assist with making a Resident’s birthday celebration happy and memorable. $25.00 per month will assist with feeding and caring for our pets that provide great joy and engagement for the Residents throughout the Home. Making a meaningful impact comes in many packages and is always appreciated.
